    Flew from Goa to Chennai

A travel blog entry by sammyjade92 on Sep 28, 2013

... in Chennai at 10:30am and got a bit confused with immigration issues and some guy almost taking our bags as we took to long to get through!! Turns out Chennai is quite a lot like Mumbai except a lot stricter. A lot of women wear full head masks etc and the whole area seemed a bit scary! We arrived at our hotel and decided this is where we were going to stay for next 48 hours, due to the fact we were on our own, tired and wanted to plan for Sri ...

... on land it was just two 1 cm gashes in my foot about 2 inches apart. No need for amputation. A clean up and all was ok, but it has been enough to put me off surfing out here. And so has been our stay here, a respite from India itself in a way, a respite with clean streets, less of a headache from horns, and a nice beach yet the chaos still borders upon the edges of serenity. Days have been lazily spent upon the beach with the hardest decision having been ...

... helpful in finding us the cheapest method of sending back our three kilos. Unfortunately the cost was a bit more than we had expected, so I had to run out and get some cash whilst the man boxed up our package. He even sewed it into its own bag … I’ve never seen that before. It took me a while to find an ATM and on my journey back, a bus passed me and someone gobbed out of the window, covering me in chat (chewing tobacco) in the process. I ...
