    13th July 2013 SALAMIS ISLAND….Kanaki Bay

We had a slow relaxed sail across to the island and also had a MOB (man overboard)drill on the way. We anchored safely and went in for a welcome swim in this very nice bay tucked behind a small island. Only one taverna on the beach at the far end provided food so we headed there in T3.5 with the outboard running sweetly. With ...

... Yianni this is ! For me it is exercise and fun but this climbing can prove catastrophic for Yianni since he recently had his knee operated but he insists that he can make it.
Watching him climbing I can hardly believe it!

It is better not to be out there, however butter ...

... We started up our first braai of the season and the menu included fish, steak and pork ‘n leak sausages. Unfortunately the wind picked up to uncomfortable levels so we moved again with the braai going to a quieter spot. The feast was amazing...so good to have braai vleis again.

The day also included a comical moment when my chef and I went off in the tendor to tie a line from the back of the boat around a tree to stop it from swinging around. We got the ...
