Tomorrow morning at 7:30 am, we will be able to see land! Today, we did an early morning yoga class, lounged and sunbathed by the pool, ate lunch at the Mexican Cantina, did a stretch and relax class, ate a relaxing formal dinner and watched a show in the theater. Just chill'in waiting to get to ...

A travel blog entry by malloryharvie on Jun 25, 2014

Well, our trip has come and gone and now we are in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, waiting for our flights home tomorrow. We opted to stay in an American chain hotel near the airport, so there's not much for us to do today. At least someone was!! The flamingos are in the saline lakes of parco molentargius. They call salt the white gold and because of this salty water a lot of animals are attracted there specifically the pink flamingos which ...

We arrived a little before 1:00 p.m. today. This is the first time the World has been to Cagliari and we were greeted by musicians and dancing along with a tasting of local drinks such as Mirto a strong sweet red wine and limoncello. We walked straight uphill into the old town called the Castello surrounded by walls still today. We walked to the top and entered thru the gate near the Archeological Museum and then walked down the narrow streets to Via Santa ...
