... with the other two? Each says their information in a different way. By late this afternoon or early evening, Jacques had decided we would leave on Oct. 8 -- time yet to be determined. He wanted to leave from the tiny village/bay of Macinagio, at the Cap Corce (tip of Corsica). In theory, if we begin our now 17 hour run to Cannes, we could leave early around 4:30a.m. of the 8th, and be in Cannes by 8:00p.m. that same night. All this is just theories, and hopes of trying ...

... just barely comfortable outside. Below decks seemed to be the best place. Jacques went to the doctor this morning, because on one of the last 3 long days, he was coming up from the engine room, and got thrown against the engine hatch wall area, and really hurt his back. He got off the boat, and ran to get a menu for us. Upon his return, he proceeded in reading the entire menu to me to see if it was acceptable. Yes, indeed, it was more than acceptable. Jacques,Marina and I jumped off the boat, and Stephen showed us the way to "Cozy". What a great little ...

SARDINIA AND CORSICA...PORT HOPPING

After a wonderful nine days back in the UK seeing my family and having my timeshare week at Langdale in the Lake District, I packed my bags and drove back to Gatwick for my flight to Rome stopping overnight once again at my son's and having a last chance to cuddle my new granddaughter. Fortunately for me the bad weather had hit the airports on the Friday and by Saturday morning, ...
