We wandered the town of St Florent, had drinks at a local café/bar with a view of the ship out in the bay. Jamie had a coke and I had a Colomba beer, a local unfiltered beer with local herbs (myrtle). We were back for a 1:30 seafood lunch at the Colonnade


Then relaxing by the pool and reading. It was Jamie's birthday today and our stewardess filled the rooms ...

... we are now in possession of an overload of information. Meteo Consult and Weather on line UK seem to be pretty much matching in their information, displaying in chart form for every three hours. (Weather on line, every three hours, on the odd hour. Meteo Consult, every three hours, on the even hour. Meteomed every hour, with sometimes totally different information.) ... small branches are broken from trees, walking is difficult. Moderately large waves with blown foam. Yes, in deed, we are definitely here for today. Wow! 35 mph winds in Cannes, and the Voilles de Saint Tropez, cancelled, due to weather! Goodness sakes..... I am definitely happy to stay here. It is frigidly cold, and too windy to walk around. ... nice Corsican wines for us to have with dinner..... They were really good. I didn't know that Corsica had wines.... but evidently they do, and they are more than pleasurable and tasty to drink.
