7:30a.m., Milena started her engine, and we were on our way to France. Me? I stayed in bed for another 45 minutes, to an hour before venturing topside. The seas were a little choppy, but the sun was at our back, as we ventured West toward The isle of Corsica. (Oh boy, the last time I was at this island and tried to leave it was Beaufort 8.). There is nothing this year that indicates we are going to have any of this kind of problem. ...

... grounds for the hundreds of motorhomes that we see are really just dusty paddocks. Would be pretty depressing pulling into one of those every night. On the way to Calvi we are stopped on the road by French Customs. They wanted to see our "papers" - really, I thought that only happened in the movies. We ended up wine tasting at a small Patriamo winery. They had white, rose, red and Muscato along with a Myrtle liquor and an Ambrose (strawberry tree) liquir most weren't that good and I ...

... patterns and charts, both current and future. At one point today Jacques thought we would leave this afternoon, and punch our way North, to a small bay and village, Macinagio. His thoughts quickly changed, as did the howling winds, and torrential, now constant downpour. Jacques was in contact with Pierre, who has been sending him weather updates from yet another source. Now we have three weather sources: Meteo Consult, Weather on Line UK, and Pierre's Meteomed.IT. It ...
