We've been taking it easy and have been chilling out so far. We've been into Lagos to shop and to have a look around the Old Town which has an amazing history influenced by Phoenicians; Greeks; Carthaginians; Romans and Arabians as well as Christians..

Christmas in Albufeira

We had a lovely 5 course lunch, including pre-dinner drinks on the terrace, free endless wine on the table and coffee and liqueurs on the terrace afterwards. Superb value for money.

Unfortunately, we do not recommend visiting this castle, or the town for that matter. I suppose we prefer a castle to be more in raw form rather than spit and polish restoration although it gives a good idea of what it looked like in all its glory.
