    ... such a small island there isn't alot to do. So we swam in the pool, went out for lunch, went to the beach and then sometimes we would go back to the hotel for a rest. It was very hot in Leros.

    Although it's mountainous terrain makes it a popular rock climbing destination, Kalymnos is best know for its history of sponge divers. This was also the place where we listened to a political speech (we think) taking place in the harbour square outside our hotel. Plastic chairs for everyone, candy floss, music.....
