... 8221; “sick” “10 days” and of course, “rakki”. The lady shakes her head, Costos tells me that she won’t make the drink, “because can make fire.”
Can you imagine my face right now?


He explains that rakki is a drink that kills bacteria (alcohol), and they warm it up, put some honey and lemon in it - then poof ! you’re all better. Aka - witch magic.

On Tuesday we flew to Heraklion - the main city in Crete. We then got a bus to our hotel in Sisi. The Hotel was called Sentido Vasi Hotel. It had 7 swimming pools including one with a volleyball net. On Tuesday 23rd we flew to Heraklion - the capital and main airport in Crete. The airport was crazy - warm, crowded, and there was confusion about which carousel our bags were coming on. Jumbo is a very big toy store in Greece. When we were in Chania, we went to Jumbo and Mum and Dad purchased me a new backpack which is really cool.
There was another day when we drove up to the mountains to visit our friend Johns mothers village. We met an old man who knew Johns family. Dad went and had a quick drink with him. Afterwards we drove through the mountains and saw lots of goats, some of them made funny grunting sounds ...
