Mini Cruise

A travel blog entry by bmenke

We met some fun Aussie girls and an annoying fellow from California who we got to spend nearly 20 hours with on our 30 hour journey to Rome. Patras was way nicer than Athens though, it had forests of lime and Orange trees, Athens had alot too but in the middle of the filth.

Our mini cruise was comfy but no beds we had to lay across chairs to sleep. But at least we got to watch Pitch Perfect!

The castle has 2 moats which looks pretty spectacular. It was huge inside the walls - too muchto ...

... for us! Then it was time to unpack, have a shower and rest before they served us dinner! Later we went on deck as the ferry stopped at Igoumenista to take on about thirty trucks and thirty five cars plus a few passengers! After watching the process in the beaut cool air and seeing the hotel we stayed at sitting on the edge of the wharf area, we went to our cabins and enjoyed a great nights sleep, relishing in the fact that we do not have to be anywhere tomorrow ...
