    Well we got to France but not to Carcassonne. After seeing that the temperatures were going to be 35 today and 38 tomorrow in Carcassonne we decided to stay at the coast for a day until the temp drops by 10 degrees. I just picked a spot on the coast and we rocked up - to Heidy Hi! Or thats what it felt like. A huge camp ground and more expensive than the last.     ... St Jean where we found a sandwich place. Lori, Steve, Peter and I were sitting there when Tom ca me by.. He came and joined us and told us the story of a little dog we had all seen on the side of the road, which was now in the van with Caroline who was attempting to find the owner.     ... grab a bite. We then climbed the next two cols at 1099m and 1256m. At the bottom of those cols, Steve and Gilles decided that they had expended their gas tanks, so I went on to do the Col de Jau myself. I made it to the top at 5:30 and had a nice run out to Prades. We had a dinner in a local pizza place which was excellent. I was so tired I could hardly see, and I do not think I was the only one.
