After a full 24 hours of traveling, we finally reached our hostel and were able to check in to our rooms at long last. It was a total fluke of a stop and although we never intended to, we added a pin in our map somewhere in northern Germany.

... like Rotterdam, a lot of the city was bombed in the war. And it's where Philips the electronic company had a lot of workers and business. So there are a lot of remnants of this history. We did a free tour of the art museum, then tried some traditional Dutch food, krokets and bollens. Both very nice. He lives in a share house with 6 other people and they all eat dinner together when they can. So I had dinner with them in the evening and then we ...
