... observatory was actually closed during the day (obviously) but the view from the viewing platform was very nice and it was well worth a trip up for the £3 or so it cost. The church which is attached to the tower is worth a look too, it is free to pop your head in and it is an interesting mix of old and new.

We arrived in Copenhagen by train from the airport. Nan, Pop and Aunt Sal set off along the cobblestoned streets to find our hotel. They got a little lost at first but eventually with some help from some kindly locals they found their way to the Mayfair Hotel where we will be staying for the next three days.
