Day 35 Stockholm to Copenhagen Again enjoyed fantastic public transport transfers.... Metro truly amazing... computer controlled, fast and on time. Very good accommodation on the Stroget right in the middle of town. It mained while we walked from the Metro of course and we had trouble contacting the apartment owner but all was good in the end.

Perfect timing as when I thought about it like that I got a text message from back home that said "I love you" - I am definetly looking forward to going home even though I love being with my family here. The trip home was "long" in Danish terms but probably the same distance between Gold Coast and Brisbane. We arrived back and I laughed as I noticed that my postcard from Slovenia had arrived..... Happy Wednesday everyone! Well, here we are finally in Berlin! It is exciting to be in a city with so much recent history, especially events that have occured during my lifetime. We have only arrived this morning, so I haven't had the chance to visit or see any sights here yet. On Monday, we took a day trip to Lübeck, a city northeast of Hamburg which is on the Baltic coast. Because the X41s took forever to start the second race there was not a third race for the day. So we headed back into harbor soaked to the bone. We headed back home that evening and attempted to dry some of our gear. And slept soundly after a long day.

... for it. Our tour guide today was wonderful. She is obviously well versed in the history of her city (Helsingborg) as well as the Danish city of Helsingor. I was surprised to find out that a good percentage of the buildings in Helsingor are over 400 years old, with the oldest dating back to around 1250. ... Later in the day we headed to the camping ground and took some pictures of some kite surfers when they were out. The time during the day was 9:45pm!! Crazy. The sun still was out and left a cool pink tint to the sky as it dipped beneath the horizon. It was windy and cold, but the pictures were nice the ones that we were able to get. It is cool to watch these acrobatic feets, but when it's windy it is generally cold so I have a time limit on such things.
