... Fuimos caminando hasta la vuelta donde había un restaurante manejado por orientales, lo único que había abierto a 6 cuadras a la redonda y tratamos de entendernos: no lo logramos. Nosotras queríamos ensaladas, el menú decía ensaladas pero no tenían ensaladas… y la mesera no hablaba ni italiano, ni inglés, ni español… un golazo, no? al final salimos porque no queríamos comer otra cosa… volvimos a buscar otro lugar y antes nuestro intento frustrado volvimos ...

... weird. So, I might have been boyfriendless, but I would have rather been happy with two of my close friends than with my boyfriend or husband looking miserable.
So that is my quick trip to Venice in a nutshell. As I said, I am leaving for Fall Break tomorrow and I won't be back until Oct. 24. So after that I will blog about my own personal "Euro Trip" and fill all of you in on the funny, crazy, unbelievable details!

... announce in italian then english to next stop on the metro. We did not take the bus but instead walk in between the spots.
The gondola is very expensive to take. The price is around 80€ per hour. If I spend that amount I will pick a very cute gondolier. You do have to neogiate the cost before you get on.
