Almost. Jonathan went to a museum in Lehon while I shopped for souvenirs in Dinan. We met under the clock tower at 12 and had lunch in a strange little cafe, quiche and salad followed by ice cream with salted caramel and Breton biscuits, washed down with coffee. It had clouded over when we struck out up the hill. We read a few menus and then found a creperie which did just that, crepes - there are a lot of "creperies" here that seem to have very few crepes and a lot of frites and haches (chips and hamburgers) perhaps for the tourists from across the channel. We took the train to Rennes, the current capital of Brittany. It was a bit of a train ride getting there and as we approached the terminus we were a little bit disappointed with what we saw - modern buildings and high rises. Oh well we will just have to make the most of it.
