Yay to waking up to sunshine and a lovely breakfast outside before a great game of soccer with Liam. After our lazy start we drove up to Wilderswil Bahnhof and jumped on the train to Schynige Platte at 2000m. It's a really old cog railway (since 1890's) and takes an hour to climb to 2000m. The views on the way up were incredible - a really different perspective on the area and a lot more clarity on how ...

The mountain ...

... going to go for it tomorrow with an early start. It's not cheap but we may never pass this way again. Afterwards, we watched the para gliders landing in the Central Park area, both solo and tandem. David was very taken with the idea so on return to the site decided to go for it and a couple of hours later was airborne for 20 minutes or so after taking off from Beatenburg. Visibility was excellent ...

... indoors and with 20 Anglo's a pretty loud affair. This meant that Belinda and I took turns to walk Elliot outside and when asleep bring him back. Unfortunately he is getting just a bit too old for staying asleep during loud laughter - so we didn't have too much luck.

Was great to see all the crew and unfort Belinda went back early but we have found an iPhone app that ...
