Had a fantastic lunch at Restaurant Bartholdi, he was the sculpture who designed the Statue of Liberty, ate duck with a beetroot and small red berries sauce, delicious, vegies were roasted fennel carrots turnip ...

... compared to Fab's Mum's Garlic snails!! The standard has been set France. Lift your game! After lunch we viewed a few more old buildings, contemplated the idea of walking an hour up a mountain to view a castle ruins(would have been brilliant) but due to the weather, drizzling at this stage, we decided to go shopping instead. We left and shopped and travelled home. We were both thoroughly nackered! Some really big days! Great days but certainly ...

... a pub to watch the end of the tour, 4 beers later we decided to ride back up to our hotel. 400 vertical metres. With the beers under the belt it made it an interesting ride. We then caught up with Dave Hollicks and Marc Ransome, showered and headed back to Munster for dinner at la dolce vita, yet again fantastic meal and very reasonably priced. Now time for bed, watched Germany defeat Argentina in the soccer.....Sleep ...
