... was full of cyclists. We must have seen somewhere close to 100 throughout the day. They always appreciated us getting out ouf their way and left with a heartfelt "Bon Camiño", the galician greeting of every peregrino. Caldas de Reis, meaning "hot water for the king" has thermal waters. We found some and had to put our feet in them it felt soooooo good. Had an amazing dinner at a local bar. Now, to sleep. Very different to our beautiful Portugal. Bigger, newer, dirtier and less gardens, although we have not hit the camino yet.
Is it money that changes ...

... I tried to find put why it wasn't a mermaid but no one seemed to know. In the late afternoon we walked all along the port area and watched sailboats zigzagging in front of us. I was reminded of a couple of things common in Spain. When at a city crosswalk controlled by lights, the green flashing light giving the go ahead to pedestrians is accompanied by a chirping sound. This is for the blind so they will know it is safe to cross. As I remember Spain has a very strong ...
