          The best hotel in Milan

We have stayed in the Hotel Manzoni before and have always believed it is the best choice in Milan.
The hotel is located in a quiet part of Milan, close to Via Monte Napoleone, a short walk to the Duomo, La Scala, and central Milan.
The metro station is only a short walk away.
The room was roomy, clean, well maintained and very comfortable, with a view of Via Santo Spirito, and a small balcony where we could sit each evening and enjoy a pre dinner drink.

The best part of the hotel, apart from the reasonable price is the staff. The staff are great and are very hospitable, helpful, and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

Hotel Manzoni is one of our favourite hotels in the world. Highly recommended

We have stayed in this hotel previously and have always found it to be a very enjoyable place to stay.
All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and hospitable.
The rooms are very comfortable, and clean.
The location is great - in a quiet street but close to the centre of Milan.
We would strongly recommend this hotel, and we are looking forward to returning to the Hotel Manzoni in the near future

          Saturday August 30th.

After a smooth flight to Milan during which we both slept soundly we arrived in Milan around 30 minutes late.

It was a cloudy but warm day, and we cleared Immigration, and collected our bags then searched for the driver who had been booked by the hotel, to drive us into the city.

          After a walk around …

Well, to start it off.. The directions the hostel gave we're ****.. But luckily I found my way from the station. It was a quiet little hostel and I was put into a room with a little Chinese girl who could hardly speak English. I spent my first day wandering around, gazing at the amazing shop windows and, without a map, found myself in the middle of the city ...

The artist’s father is the owner of the gallery and he spent time with us talking about his daughter and her art. Quite fascinating—check it out: He was even kind enough to suggest a place for dinner and called in a reservation for us. What a lovely gesture and so welcoming.

... br> By the time we got there, I was starving. I gave the waiter my name and they brought us to our table. You can see a picture of Dorian and the nice place settings below. We immediately began browsing the menu for the evening and I was quickly salivating. Luckily, they had some bread already out for us to begin with, and happily began chomping away.

Dorian and I thought there might be some other Americans or ex-pats for the dinner, but we were the ...
