    ... on the Friday evening.

Went to the Hufeland thermen / spa resort the whole Saturday. A bit weird to have two separate areas, with and without swimming gear. A bit of a hassle.

Also a shame they don't have service / waiters at the seats and the beds, like in many Dutch spa resorts, and which makes it feel like the ultimate luxury. Had to go fetch your own drinks and snacks at a canteen-like bar and could only ...

... having to do the man thing and lift up high on the racks above. The only bad thing about the train is that the windows were dirty and photos look blurred. We raced past solar farms which are arrays of solar panels set up in rows on fields. They don’t require much maintenance, are artificially subsidised and electricity prices in Germany are maintained at artificially high levels to cover their cost. So all ...

    Natural salt water spring

... pool was 1.6% and 33 degrees, the third pool was 2.5% salt and 35 degrees and the fourth pool was 3.5% and 36 degrees. My favourite pool was the second one which flowed out doors into a whirlpool. In Winter you can swim out when it is snowing and have snow fall on you. It is sooooo cold though that you have to keep ducking under the water to get your head ...
