... br> In fact, the little harbor of Aliki is just a 5-minute walk from our hotel's back gate. Almost every morning, we go to the back of the property past the pomegranate trees and the tomato garden, past someone's property with at least four big rabbits and then someone else's property with goats. We call out "kalimera" (good morning) to the people in their gardens and patios and then we are then greeted with a wonderful view of the ocean and boats. For the first ...

... would be dangerous with people going back into the ocean and drunks on tables. It was amusing watching bikini'ed people getting messy. We decided not to go to town and walked the road home stopping on the way to buy gyros (a pitta bread wrap) from a restaurant and eat it on our balcony where we sat for sometime until we cooled down ( we sat naked on our balcony to help us cool down) and felt tired enough to go straight to asleep about midnight. ... was built as a maze to fool the pirates. Walking tour over, we came back to the chaos of the bus terminal to catch our bus back to the hotel. There were buses, motor bikes, cars and people everywhere. It amazed me that there were men blowing whistles trying to get some order. I don't know if they made any difference to the chaos or not. We made it onto our bus and back to our hotel to have dinner with our fellow travellers. Bed really looked good at ...

Another morning waking up in paradise!

We got breakfast right this morning, with no confusion and went to make the most of our last few hours with the quad before we have to give it back.

We took a trip down to the south of the island to visit Red beach. Given its name because of the large red cliffs over the beach. Not the nicest beach as it was all black sand, but still amazing water and fascinating cliffs. Santorini is only just over 30 kms from ...
