... buildings just begging to be renovated that we can fantasize about. Also n heated municipal swimming pool and sauna, loads of walks and cycle tracks. And all for €6 a day. No wonder people choose to travel for months on end although we still can't quite get our heads around the whole motorhoming culture.

So after all the stress we feel that we just want to stay put and relax. Went running this ...

... It is quite run down in places with some beautiful old buildings standing empty. We have been buying perfect avocados, huge plums, fresh salad etc at the market. The market man obviously thought that my salad was not going to be any good because he insisted on putting an onion and a bunch of coriander in the bag. Even when I held my nose to indicate that I really don't like coriander he just ignored me. Had to give the coriander to the French neighbours.

I'll admit, living in the Rockies and along the Pacific Ocean had me thinking I had seen what the world has to offer when it comes to natural beauty. Lagos totally took us by surprise with it's turquoise waters, surreal sandstone formations, adrenalin inducing cliffs and wacky hostel buddy (Hugo). Indeed, I am now convinced the world has beauty secrets I could never have imagined.
