After a long train ride (on which we were scheduled for the wrong day and had to spread out throughout the train) we arrived at our hotel - more populated with mosquitoes than people. The locals try to be accomodating, and I'm not sure they understand our fear of the tiny insect ...

While it does have its fair share of smooth talkers who try to seperate you from your money, over all it's city that captures some of the essence of India. If you're in the area you must drop by to walk along the Ganges, passing the numerous ghats getting a small glimpse into the holiest place on earth for Hindus.
