Hard to believe, but there is still more…. ... down to the beach. Bob made it all the way in but I decided to just dip my feet in as it just seemed like too much work to struggle into my suit while wrapped in a towel. Oh, and the beach was rocky. Our ferry to the tiny town of Sougia didn't board until 6 pm and didn't actually leave until about 7 pm. Day 2 we booked our trip to the Samaria Gorge. The Samaria Gorge is a very full day adventure which deserved it's very own post.
Day 3 was a quiet one. After our day down the Samaria Gorge we creaked down to breakfast and then went beach exploring. We headed out to Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed directed by and starring Anthony Quinn. It was an interesting movie but the place is even ...
