When we arrived in Athens, it was really quiet as everything was closed due to it being a public holiday. The graffiti on every single shutter, wall, door etc was unreal! It made Athens look really ugly unfortunately.

I bought a brown and white patterned sun dress for a measly 4€ and a beautiful torquoise and coral bracelet almost identical to one that I wanted in Turkey but never bought. We will return, hopefully, to Istanbul one day.
Our next stop is Greece and today's transit was a smooth and uneventful transit. Best of all, the plane ride was a very short 75 minutes with little turbulence. If only everywhere we traveled was an hour or two away. Its so pain free compared to the crazy 16 hour long hauls I take from places like Hong Kong to New York.
