... Sea, alfresco, and made a grab for the one remaining table. There were three other tables occupied when we arrived, and the waitress was overwhelmed with our arrival (and the subsequent arrival of 3 other smaller groups). We saw her make a hasty phone call, backup? Eventually ...

... down the hill, we happened across a market, and this was surely a great find. There were many vendors, selling their wares: cheeses, pesto, meats, bread...it was a beautiful sight to behold! We wandered by the tents and tables, taking in the sights and smells, remarking that we wished we would be in Genoa for a longer period of time so we could purchase some of the delicious looking items. But alas, it wasn't so, and instead, we went off to find a place for dinner. ...

... so there was a lot of running from cover to cover (no coffee shops or bars open because of siesta time). I have started my Italian visit well - lots of prossecco already. Before dinner, at dinner, and after dinner!!! Talking of dinner, we ate at a small restaurant across from the hotel. I had sea bass that melted in my mouth and Garth had a lamb dish that looked ...
