Sandra and Peter were off again today to meet up with some of Peter's friends. This morning Andrew and I went out shopping. I don't know how these places make a living....every shop has the same same......Murano glass in every imaginable object, masks, t shirts, key rings.......on and on it goes! I'd had enough after 15 minutes!! We dropped our loot back off at the apartment and Andrew got to choose where he wanted to go. He suggested a walk back through S. Croce sestiere....he ...
Four of my roommates and three of our other close girl friends decided to plan a last minute trip to Venice this past weekend! It was a wonderful adventure with lots of exploring. just a quick update for all of you out there thinking how easy this travel lark is. In the past month I have travelled a total of over 80 hours in cars, trains and buses, this does not include time at the station waiting/transfers or waiting time to get picked up hitch hiking, if I add that on I'm sure it would double easily: -
Bus - 34 hours
Train - 22:45 hours
Hitch hiking - 21:30 hours - 1520 km - in 11 different cars, boo-yeah!
Planes - 2 hours
