Hotel Majapahit is the best hotel I've stayed ever. It's value for money. They have excellent restaurants which serve local, Chinese and Indian food. Hotel is huge with lush green gardens and excellent spa. The staff were too good that they helped me throw a surprise birthday party for my friend upon request.

Visiting Mt. Bromo and seeing its stunning scenery was something I knew I wanted to do before I left Canada. But there were a few complicating factors. First, the weather and the limitations associated with the rainy season. What would I be able to see? Second was getting there. it was a few hours from the nearest city, Surabaya, a city that I wasn't really interested in visiting. Without taking part in an organized tour, like I did in northern Philippines for a week, this was a bit of ...

As well as the Orangutans we were fortunate enough to see a Gibbon, the way they move is amazing. They can swing through the trees with amazing accuracy, and are really fascinating to watch. There were a few squirrels making the most of the bananas too, as well as lots of really beautiful butterflies. We also saw a few Stork Kingfishers, ...

After all of the lions performed the students were able to give the lion donations for a symbol of good luck. The donation is given by putting the envelope donation into the lion’s mouth. The students had so much fun with it. It was so amazing to be able to watch my students having such a great time. ...

... blockade was finally lifted, this guy was the captain of the first ship to come into port. He got his name on the communist party hit list for it, so while he was in china (loading & unloading cargo) some CIA buddies of his gave him a safe house in a remote area with food, water, gas, and a boat that he could take out to sea just to get away from the land. Then, once out at sea, they gave him a number to ...

... and the fact that they print your religion on your ID card really doesn't sit well with me. It just makes it that much easier to discriminate.

You know who else made it mandatory to be labeled by your religion? As I recall, he made all the Jews wear stars on their clothing. So Yeah...Not sure how i feel about all that. Well, actually, I am sure. It's bad and I don't like it at all. Really makes you appreciate America.
