Off to Strasbourg today - the (self-proclaimed) "Capital of Christmas" on the border with Germany.
Had to set off early (7am and dark) to catch a bus, to catch the train to Strasbourg. Was a new TGV, very nice. It is about 500km and the train takes 2hrs 20mins (need one from Sydney to Brooms Head!).
Could not check into the hotel …

... there it was closed. Back to Brig and taking the car-train at the Lotschberg Tunnel and on to Grindelwald for the night. Unfortunately the clouds were hanging low over the mountains so we couldn't see the tops.
