I envisioned myself entering Austria singing the Sound of Music soundtrack, but entering Vienna was unfortunately much more anticlimactic. We left the hostel and all got on the bus. We stopped at the Schonbrunn Palace. It was a big beautiful building peach in colour. There were a number of white fountains in the courtyard and golden eagles guarded the gates.
On our way to the next stop we passed the impressive Greek themed government building with a big statue of Athena with four figures around her. We passed a number of other impressive buildings on the way to our next stop.
