... him my 'real' boyfriend was waiting at the guesthouse for me.

So after Varanasi I headed to Agra for the day cause when in India, you have to see the Taj Mahal. Ok so it was pretty impressive. It was pretty impressive to see from a distance and even more impressive close up. Agra also has a fort which I also checked out and was pretty impressive. Unfortunately my camera battery died just before I got to the more pretty part of it but it was impressive to see none the less. I ...
Udaipur, Rajasthan, India seturnbull... travelling to places in the vicinity of the town. Having said that, Udaipur’s the kind of place where you enjoy lazing about or aimlessly wandering the streets of the old quarter, and few people regret staying an extra couple of days.

City Palace complex
The City Palace, which stretches along the eastern bank of Lake Pichola, was ...

Udaipur, Rajasthan, India juleo... to see where it came from and in what century it was deemed necessary to have the handle of your gun be the kind of blade that could ensure you never have children again if you holstered it wrong, I looked for the explanation. A carefully painted gold sign next to it read "Axe gun." Thanks guys. The pattern continued throughout the museum ("mosaics laid by _______" with no sign of who he was, what the patterns signify or when this mysterious man ...
Udaipur, Rajasthan, India hammitt... I am in heaven!! I have also been to an Indian party and become seriously addicted to lassi ( the wonderful kurd that they eat here, not the American dog). It continues to be hot, so we are off to Dungarpur this afternoon for a night - Vivian and I stayed there last time when we visited India and with this heat, I am really looking forward to the infinity pool!! More when I return.....
Udaip, Rajasthan, India tiggerlot... if the Tate will agree? Lesson 2- Indian Cookery Class! All 12 of us opted for this very tasty class where we spent half a day making Chai, Malai Kofta, Chapati (I included coconut!), Khadai Paneer, Biryani, Cutlets, Kashmiri Saffron tea and Gulab Jaman. Our teacher was a very funny guy who wouldn't eat with us as not enough bacteria for his liking. He did recommend a very good restaurant for that ...
Udaipur, Rajasthan, India ladytonholiday... Though possibly because of too many hours in front of the Playstation, we couldn't help notice it's similarity to a backdrop in the game Tomb Raider and, after spotting a rope dangling from the ceiling, Caroline did her best Lara Croft impersonation much to the internal angst of the observing devotees. Sunday we were off again, taking a jeep east to beautiful Udaipur, our favourite destination so far. Situated on the banks of sparkling Lake Pichola ...
Udaipur, India cc_world_tour... wonder...we saw some art that took our fancy and went searching for more! Unfortunately we found some...lots actually, lou found too many to buy. nut unfortunately we arwe both 10 000 rs poorer and a painting richer! well worth it...we hope! we had to pay cash and well...who carries around 10000 rs? not us. so in order to be able to afford it we had to go to an atm..mode of transport..eek mums dont be mad..a motobike!!!! all 3 of us at once! haha its was alot of fun and alot safer ...
Udaipur, India buddha_belly... too boring and they move onto whatever they're selling that we most certainly need. We traveled on the big 41 hr train ride to Agra. The first 20 weren't so bad...the next 21 got to be a little uncomfortable. The MEX train from the ship to the lodge, is all the sudden an express train in our book! We spent the day touring the Taj Mahal, which was absolutely breathtaking. It's hard to imagine how something so perfect could have been built so long ago, and ...
