    ... heading downstairs for a snack and refreshments. We’ve had the same hotel attendant here for two nights who is very good at his job and has helped us with booking today’s adventure as well as printing out boarding passes for tomorrow night’s dinner cruise, following our visit to the United Nations, located on the site of the former League of Nations.

    We were very excited to see blue sky when we woke up! Since the wether was good we decided to take the cablecar up Grands Montets.     ... way up bigger climbs to make sure she is ok. Today I had the pass. This was going to take some thought as it would be so easy for me to redline and have an issue. The gradients hit up to 15% which felt easy due to the stuff we have already done this trip. The first third of the climb averaged around 10% and I was in unbelievable spirits. I was averaging around 13km/hr, heart rate around 160. As I was climbing I kept stealing a peek at the mountain on the other side of the valley ...

    ... her mother's car. I drove back up to the chalet with Steffie, but my nerves were a wreck. It took me a while just to sit down and relax and get over it. Dave and Louiselle returned with their car and after a while I joined them to walk down to Vex to buy some meat.
