After yet another beautiful breakfast on the rooftop of our B&B, we caught the bus to Badia which is a small village just outside Sulmona. We drove through a bunch of tunnels and switched lanes from northbound lanes to southbound lanes (because they like to do this in Italy when working on roads…..and evidently they REALLY like to work on roads in Italy). Oh, and the merge onto the highway….about 10 feet…..and cars on the A24 are driving at oh……80 MPH. No problem! Did I mention I was driving a 5 speed ...

Beatrice, the bar lady tony is so popular with grabbed me while walking past with Rosie and asked if tony could look at cooker for old lady. Went off in possey of old ladies to her house. Then he had to try to fix cooker with heard of women looking on.....after that Beatrice grabbed him and asked him to fix her washing machine switch. She then force fed him on good food convinced he needed fattening up....... Now expecting gaggles of old ladies at the door needing his ...
