Walking back through old town, after some debate whether or not we should do the free river cruise or not, it was decided we shall walk back to Wenceslas square so we can see it in person rather than from the van. ... me (and I mean the woman next to me) seemed to get very excited. So if anybody can enlighten me please do. I have added pictures... The castle was unfortunately wrapped in scaffolding from the outside and also parts of the inside square. It is a very impressive and huge building though. The Sunday Service took place at Veit's Cathedral when I walked past but I managed to get a peek in. It looks like a smaller version of Cathedral in Cologne due to its Gothic building ...

... was raised 22' or 8m over a period of 20 years. The rooms that we walked through were at original ground level and below. The rooms are preserved remarkably well with visual evidence of the different building eras. The water wells, the sewerage wells, the jail cells including the 'hole' are all in very good condition.
