... may turn out to be a KGB agent and you did not want them going through your stuff. As a result, Czech homes have very small dining or living rooms, but large bedrooms and maybe a decent rumpus room for the kids....but not built for entertaining. The museum is a collection of KGB paraphernalia, and run by a short but enthusiastic Russian man. Its only a small museum, three rooms of wall to wall stuff. Fortunately, as some of you will know, we are finely honed Olympic-class athletes, and therefore it wasn't a problem, but by the time we hit the sack at about 11ish, I was rooted! After we'd had enough of the bloody palace, we went back to the city and had dinner, before we attended a performance by the Vienna State Orchestra ...(that may not be technically correct, but ...

A quintessential Prague day

... back to the apartment for a while and then split up - the boys to go get Thai massages (yes, another one for Bernard!) and us girls to hi shopping. Unfortunately for us the mainstream shops were closing so we browsed the souvenir shops instead until we met the boys for dinner. We went to a traditional Czech place for dinner near Charles Bridge and had goulash, pork and potato dumplings, then walked over the Charles Bridge to see it by ...
