... ice on the footpath. We stopped halfway up the top at the restaurant where I enjoyed a beer looking out at the spectacular views of Prague city, and Claudio had a hot chocolate. We continued up to the top and enjoyed the tower and the amazing views. Back down the tower we decided to head over to St Vitus Cathedral, hopping on another tram, getting off somewhere a long way from where we were supposed to be and asking for directions from a grumpy unresponsive ...

... all together. A bit of spare time in which we found a local restaurant. You'd never believe it but we were sitting beside a couple from Tauranga !!! Well fed and watered ....,,Anne had goulash with dumplings. We headed back to the square investigating the interiors of a few churches first. Viewed some garnets and beautiful glass work. Tried some hot cider some local chocolates and some local bread/ donut type of thing ...

... forget something at home, you can always buy it

  • documents for visas & passport - you don't want to be stuck at airport
  • copy of the documents - you never know :)
  • good boots (it's a must when you're planning to walk bit more than normal, there is nothing worse than painful feet)
