... dinner on the ship and as it got dark, we were all invited up to the top deck to see the lights of the city as the ship set out on a twilight cruise. The lights of the city, bridges, Palace etc. were absolutely stunning and unforgettable.
As mentioned we left the ship this morning. The last 2 weeks on board has been incredible. We have very much enjoyed our time, the food has been overwhelming and the company fantastic. As it happens, most of us initially met in Paris ...

Sat. June 27 Day 23 cloudy, humid, drizzle 22C 8am saw us at the Farmers' Market by the side of the river. While small, the produce offering was outstanding. There was fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, flowers, pastries, breads and cheeses. After perusing everything we had a coffee with a toasted sandwich followed by a freshly baked muffin. ... the castle and the cathedral high on the hill opposite the old town. We passed under three bridges before we turned around at the weir traveling back under Charles and three other bridges, an extra one as we had to travel downstream to turn around. ... occasional mobs of loud drunk guys in strange outfits. Harmless fun.
Last night's stroll over Charles Bridge we discovered some restaurants by the riverside that looked promising without being as completely touristic like last night's right on the tourist trail. The only problem being not actually feeling hungry. But we're not quitters, especially when it comes to food, so we will give our all.

... astonished by the crowds of tourists. They were sweeping everything from the racks. I didn't undestand them it like the cloth was their personal drug of choice. One of the most amazing place that I completely fell in love with was Charles Bridge. The music that surrounded me shiver. It was like I was in a faily tail. Dressed up people were trying to convince you to buy unneeded thighs.
