... into the late afternoon. Upon returning from our "hike" we tried to figure our what we wanted to eat. We drove into town and ended up a a nice open air (all are) restaurant. It's a really hippy town where people end up staying for months and living on $2 a day by sleeping on the beach and making jewellery. It's a strange place. ... and as we were up in the hills outside of Alajuela, you could see the lights of the town. I was dead on my feet, so I did little more than shower and go to bed. The next morning I was up at 5:30 as I had to be on the bus to Cahuita at 7:20. I had been feeling a little beat up of late and was wondering if I needed a break from the third world. No. What I needed was the beach. A real beach. I have been inland for 4 months.
