I am glad to report that we survived the night, despite the sultry heat and the scary snails. I had half expected to awake covered in a white sheet of snail, but only three had made it into Red. Mind you, they had made a concerted effort to ascend via the tyres.

It took me an hour and a half to find a little supermarket, I pounded the streets for what seemed like 5km in the ridiculous heat - 34 degrees. Didn't help that Google Maps twice directed me to places that didn't exist. Pharmacies passed- at least 20. Clothes shops, 100 or more. Supermarkets? 1. I only found it ...
