I think we are snowing and eating ourselves into oblivion! We get up each morning and it's still snowing! One metre fell last night onto of the last two days fall. And it's still snowing. So great for skiing, which after 4 days of lessons we can now get down the moutain by ourselves. We are very happy to have progressed so far and should be pros by the end of the week. ... he was riding on a nearly new tire that we purchased in Ireland, there were multiple splits along a seam in the tire. We'd already patched these with duct tape and some rubber we pulled off a CO2 cartridge, but the slice was pushing through the reinforcement as well. ... train, riding it for an hour up the valley, and then repacking her bike and cycling out to find the TI.

I cycled down into the town of Davos and met her at the TI. We found a hotel and then cycled to it together. 96 francs a night ($125) was the cheapest hotel to be found. Unbelievable. We paid it thankful that this was our last night in Switzerland.

Tomorrow, we would cycle over the divide and down to Austria and Italy.
