We awoke at 3 AM in order to get packed and walk over to the terminal.. The show time was 0415 for the flight to Dover. The plane was a C-5 Galaxy with 71 seats open. A quick look around the terminal showed that there were only a few active duty families that would have priority over the retired guys. For as long as I can remember, Donnie has always wanted to drive a formula 1 car. According to his mom, he has always wanted to be a "race car driver."

Today was SUPPOSED to be that day. We picked up my inlaws at 7:30 this morning, stopped and had breakfast, then headed off to the New Jersey Motorsports Park.

... br> Day 172 June 24th - So, the plan was to go to a brewery, the plan was to actually get out of bed at a decent hour. I contacted the brewery, they had no spaces and only later did I realise you couldn't wear open toed shoes or shorts, so even if I went on the off chance of their being a space on a tour, I would not have been allowed in.

I ended up lounging around, watching some Wimbledon tennis, sleeping some more, checking out the porch and decking ...
