    ... for a while to cool down. Then back on the road and after almost knocking a cyclist down we crossed back into the Netherlands, and immediately noticed how well kept everything seemed to be, the roads, the houses, the farms. Also we now have to keep an eye out for bicycles as they have right of way.

    Dating back to the 13th century, the structure was a Dominican church until Maastricht was invaded by Napoleon in 1794 and the group was forced out of the country.
