... 8364;2700 upfront payment the hospital wanted, the hospital was very good to me, and I have been able to recover somewhat. I still have some pain, but the pain from the 3 holes sewn up in my stomach is actually worse than anything else now, so I take that as a good sign. Actually, the doctor had the nerve this morning to suggest that perhaps I have a low pain threshold, because I gave a yell when she deliberately poked me in the middle of one of the stitches, so that didn't help ...
Genk, Limburg, Belgium emmav... and we had a good time bowling.
We also got to try lots of new foods and enjoyed some of our favourites that we hadn't had for a while. Luckily for me the Strous family feels the same way about chocolate as I do. In the mornings I had chocolate spread on toast and after dinner I had chocolate custard! Delicious!! We tried multiple new types of cookies and the Bami was very good- I will have to get the recipe and give it a go myself.
On Monday Steve and I ...
During our stay in Spa we had the most scary, horrible, unpleasant experience ever in a restaurant.
The restaurant to avoid is "Le Bouchon Gourmand", the owner does not hesitate to insult customers, lock them into the restaurant if there is a dispute on the bill, and claim more money than is due.

... to drinks after the race as we walked into Francorchamps to wait while the traffic cleared- it took 3 hours! On Monday we headed down to Luxembourg for the day. It was the one time the Europe GPS card didn't quite help, as far as finding a public parking garage. I parked on the street and we walked over the aqueduct-like bridge into the old city. Lunched at Place d'Armes , where I was ...
Maastricht, Netherlands neuromon... in a great big beautiful church, but we went downstairs in the crypt for the actual mass so that we wouldn't be disturbed by tourists stopping in (because we aren't tourists anymore!) The priest's first language definately wasn't English though and only a few of us were awarded with wooden kneelers. When it came time for the Profession of Faith, the priest informed us that he didn't know the english version so we were on our own!! Mackenzie, Katie, Sarah, and ...
Maastricht, Netherlands kelseylynn... a blast! We met many people from different countries like Italy, Estonia, and even ran into a guy from Missouri there. It seems like a very cultured, high class city, and if I only had the money to shop at all the high fashion stores we walk by I would come back a supermodel..haha! I better get rested up for my first day of class tomorrow-Mackenzie and her mom insist that we take a first day of class picture and I am gonna look darn good for it :) haha Wish me luck!! love
Maastricht, Netherlands kelseylynn... and have a beer but Kristina and I just walked around to see the sights. The one open store that we found was a head-shop which sold like every type of drug paraphenelia you could imagine. It was really weird, but interesting to see. For the rest of the evening, we were taken to a German carnival in Aachen, Germany. It pretty much reminded me of the Westmoreland County Fair, but all ...
Maastricht, Netherlands jnl5002... for free and adjusted the neck for me. I walked back to school with the guitar on my back and went back out to get some food with some girls at an italian pizza place. It was a very charming place and we split a margarita pizza which means cheese. i think i'm going to try and go to Dublin in the next few weeks because a round trip flight is only 30 Euro. i guess we'll see, until next time!

< br>The slight morning drizzle did not hamper us from exploring the centre of Maastricht, and it felt nice to be amongst the local goings-on in the busy market square. But, although we were enjoying being in the midst of life on the other side of the world from where we were born and raised, Amber and I soon got a surprise reminder of home. In a park on ...
