For dinner we metroed to the Gothic Quarter and had some paella. The boys were very adventurous because the seafood one had shrimp with heads on! We walked a bit through the small streets and saw the cathedral of Barcelona and even some street dancers who were chased off by la policia.
Really good first day in Barcelona!

only one more night of the anglepoise and then we head for France.
Sadly, we've dilly dallied longer than we'd intended to between
Valencia and Barcelona and we're having to drive straight through the
Costa Brava without taking in the sights. Maybe we can linger longer
here next time?!?!?

Joan has a small 2 bedroom apartment in this typical European old building. He is a very nice guy with lots of cassette tapes (of 80s music). I'm sure he and Greg have lots in common. :)
