    ... still managed to catch the 9 am bus to Ouro Preto, so it all worked out in the end. But it was still a typical Brazil travel day. Ouro Preto was worth it as a destination. The town is a charming little place set amongst the hills of Minas Gerais, with beautiful baroque churches, cobblestone streets, cute squares and great views.     the internet was down up on campus, and so I came home to do some searches, and while so doing I had to take advantage of the sunset... I noticed the light, and by the time I got my shoes on and the camera in hand ... poof, gone! But at least you can see the last vestiges of the light on the back of the Igreja Rosario...
