    ... and unexiting rope way trip. Gun Hill point was disappointingly dissolved in large number of stalls offering mundane games, photography services and street food. View was amazing from the point. But it was too commercial. Again to wait in long queue to catch the rope way to go back. We went back to the hotel and relished the dinner, and of course the night view of the valley from the most favorite open air cafe at Kasmanda.

    Today I decided to venture out across the bridge and buy a few things. I found a shop selling products made by Tibetan refugees., run by a lovely Tibetan couple. They were so sweet and shanti. I stayed in their shop for quite some time and had tea with them. It was a little abode of peace. In the evening I was sitting in my room ...

    ... the mountain to do some more shopping. Even though I still have a lot of the muesli left, I bought another kilo of it – in order to make sure that I have enough to last me until I leave here. Also, there was only one container of the muesli left at the store, and I didn’t want to risk letting someone else get it, although with its low sugar content it is of little interest to the locals.
