    ... and unexiting rope way trip. Gun Hill point was disappointingly dissolved in large number of stalls offering mundane games, photography services and street food. View was amazing from the point. But it was too commercial. Again to wait in long queue to catch the rope way to go back. We went back to the hotel and relished the dinner, and of course the night view of the valley from the most favorite open air cafe at Kasmanda.

    ... the shop at 7am!! Arrived in uttarkashi 6 hours later and we try to find out about some trekking here as its the source of the Ganges and meant to have some great walks. It's so hard to find out info everyone says you have to have a guide and apparently some of the walk is closed due to too much snow but no one seems to really know or can be bothered to find out! We decide to do the dodital trek on our own which is meant to be a nice 3 day trek.
