Several people had walked up and down the route we had taken and I doubt if any of them had realised the significance of what was there!
We made our way back to the MH for lunch and found we had been joined by many other MH's in the car ...

... The day was so hot, up to 31 degrees, so travelling in Ruby was very sticky! By 5pm, we had had enough and pulled into the first campsite we came to near a town called Seilhac and overlooking Lac de Bournazel. At first we thought it was shut given the lack of any people camping however it wasn’t so we checked in.

That evening, we listened to the fighter jets on their way back to Toulouse. The sky turned very dark but we were spared any rain ...

... morning the sun continues to shine and we drive to Lac Pavin, a crater lake which is almost a complete circle, and although its last eruption was 7000 years ago, is still monitored and considered a risk. We walked to the highest point about 1/3 of the way around to get a view of the snow covered mountains that provide the region with the skiing tourists In winter. We now drive to Limoges...or should I say Bessines-sur-Gartempe, and Chateau Constant which is just a few km north of ...
