... sort of cool to see. There's a small room that is entirely covered in porcelain. The entire wall and ceilings is all porcelain. The wood floors are very intricate - two or three different colors of wood in complex patterns with very small pieces that just fit together amazingly. ... for the driver to take a somewhat "scenic" route and he described the various sites that we were passing. At one point we came across a large demonstration, with part of the street blocked and Police keeping a close watch on the protesters. They were demonstrating against the banks, mortgage fraud, etc. Apparently, some of the office towers in Madrid are vacant and now being occupied by squatters, people that have been evicted from their houses ...

... and chorizo somethin somethin and a cerveza (at least the beer will be right). Kinda thinkin it might be huevos rancheros-ie. What he brought me was a beer, good, and a plate of rice, squid, maybe some octopus and clams, aka a small plate of paella. Great. Well, I dug in tentatively and of course, it was delish.
