... up with 30 other MKs to go and tell High School students about God and his plan. This will be something new for me, as although I will be serving as a missionary, I haven't really been to that side of the world. I am SO EXITED TO GO! I am going to Thailand because I was given the opportunity to. I thought this part was the most significant. I feel like God has opened and closed so many doors in order for me to go on such ...

Tirana 17 degrees, cloudy with sunny periods

Early walk out of the way, I had breakfast in the hotel at 7.45. A nice place and the family wait on you hand and foot. After that I head down to the square to find a bus out to Bethel.

Just visited, he didn’t help with a financial contribution, make promises for the future safety of Albania, no, he just visited. I visited, and I don't see them sorting out a Sheppard highway or anything like that. Come on Albania, for all the progress ...

Day 21 Preveza to Tirana, Albania

After crossing the border between Greece and Albania we were advised to ensure we had cameras handy all the time as "anything goes" in Albania. We drove through some very poor rural areas with unfinished and ruinous looking houses perched on the sides of breathtaking mountain slopes. Locals hang dolls or teddy bears above their houses to ward off evil spirits - quite a weird sight. Our guide told us all about the history of Albania including ...

... operations of the bus aside from driving. The big buses in Albania compete for customers with the "furgon" minivans, which offer a faster ride but at the expensive of comfort – the minivan seats are not as spacious as the motorcoach seats, and there’s not overhead storage or room for luggage.

The bus departed Shkodra two minutes late at 1:02 p.m. There are 28 passengers on board. As with many other intercity buses in the Balkans, this ...
