... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.

When I got here I found the outlet into the lake for the Fiumelatte - a huge stream of fresh water coming down from the mountain. ... and there was still time before sunset so we could enjoy the scenery on our way to the town.
Once safely on board the bus, our worries for the day would be gone. Any anxious thoughts about where to go, what train we were on and what we were doing were now over. A short bus ride and we would finally be in Bellagio, in our hotel and finally in bed for a good night’s sleep ready to explore the town tomorrow.
