We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. The Neverlost might be the case on the odd occasion that it works, but without it getting lost is actually quite simple. Happy belly, happy driver! ...

I sat there for a while soaking up the sun, but I knew I had a lot of driving to do if I was going to make it to Pisa before dark. Still without a GPS but I had written names of cities and road numbers on a piece of paper as a reference.

It was May 19th at home this night so we called Sally for her Birthday and sang to her. It was lovely to talk to her and hear how everyone at home was going. Dukie getting bigger by the day and Spence was to start his new job soon. They were staying in a lovely hotel ...
