28.10.14 Left Vaile Di Caises this morning under a very heavy frost. Thought we would outsmart Bruce the navigator and avoid the Autostrada. It did work and he took us into the Dolomites over Cortina above the tree line with great views which you will see. He also scared the willies out of us with windy steep roads the kind of switch backs you see in the Tour De France. Anyhow our wisdom to avoid the Autostrada turned a two and a half our trip into ...

Tomorrow is meant to be sunny again so we will be up early exploring some more sites around Lake Garda before driving about 40 mins to ...

I was beginning to query George, as we headed deeper and deeper into no-man's land until we finally ended-up on a little track that looked as if it would peter-out, but before it did, there was a camp sign....! Anyway, there was a camp...of sorts.... And we got a spot ok..... But, they had electricity, a swimming pool, no wifi of course, the amenities-block wasn't too bad, and the guy was affable-enough.... So, we threw some dinner together and ...
