... then across to the Japanese Gardens. Then we went to the bus stop where we got off and continued the journey. We went round the rest of the route, by now the rain was a bit heavier, so we decided we needed to get our jackets. Next stop was close to the hotel, so we went back, dropped off the shopping and picked up jackets. We left the hotel again, and walked to the Terraces de Fontvieille, a shopping area, and also where the naval museum and the Jardin Animalier ...

... exit spit us out into a construction site. Some abandoned building was being remodeled and that was what we had emerged from the tunnel into. The exit signs pointed us to a set of stairs that only led up, so we climbed. After emerging at the top we realized we were in the middle of a construction site at the edge of a road that was full of exposed electrical wires and heavy machinery.

Leah wanted to return to the tunnel, but I refused. ...

We were prepared for this to just be an epic day. Our bike ride was a mere 15 miles or so, and it was all coast until Monaco, the country with the highest concentration of millionaires and billionaires on the planet. I'm pretty sure it's also the highest concentration of yacht and private jet owners, but not 100% ...

... don't speak French so what a drama, got Scott our quite to help, French very uncooperative so Scott said wait till tomorrow and report it in Italy as they are easier to deal with.
