      Alvor was a treat. Arriving at about lunchtime we went to look at the Aire which was huge open and pretty full. Parked up by the beach instead and had Lunch and LUDO had a run before deciding to go to a site. We stayed for two nights in the 'tranquil' part of the camp.       ... couldn't have been better. Sue and Geoff have been great travel mates and we have been having lots of shared meals and many laughs. Ludo has lived the beach but it was a little drizzly this Morning so we left and are now in Alvor. Just has lunch at the beach and checked out the Aire but decided on the campsite as we need water etc and to charge bikes and phones now that H has found his after some hairy moments this morning when he told me he hadn't seen it for a few ...

      We also had a young large dog hanging around at the motorhomes. He was skinny and hungry. I resisted for a day giving him food but then sneaked him a few chunks of cheese. He was so subservient and grateful he could barely walk. Of course he wouldn't leave our feet and van and kept grinning at us. It got a bit embarrasing when he started barking under our van that night, clearly taking his new job ...

      Hi all, we are still in Silves. Unbeknown to us, we seem to have landed on one of the best campsites around and now we are reluctant to move on. It is good as we are close to the historical town centre (5 mins) which is seriously old (still the Moors and Christians fighting after they kicked out the Romans), there is electric connections, free internet, a supermarket two minutes away, good showers, few tourists and loads ...
