After days at sea we had a short stop in Malaga before docking the next day back in Savona. I have decided that I am not crazy about the days at sea. Even though I really enjoyed all the ports, I don't think I would do anther big curise. The fact that there were only small number of people who spoke enlgish on the ship was interesting. So wanted to speak another language .. any lanaugage. Even when I told the Germans I did nto speak Germann they kept talking!
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands pathenger... was when I called my grandparents in Florida. They were hosting my uncle, cousins, and Melanie and that my grandma had to get off the phone so she could put the turkey in the oven. For a moment I felt like I was there with them. Other than that it is sad missing out on such a great day but I took it pretty well. I am enjoying Spain too much to be all that sad. It was fun talking to my grandma. She told me that she saw my belly ...

... Alex, Maria, Juan, and two friends from an intercambio) were all super proud of me. No pasa nada!
Afterwards we went to a bar where they played a lot of older Spanish songs…very good and upbeat even though some were from the 60’s. Also, after I left the bathroom in the bar I saw Maria standing waiting for the girls bathroom and she called me over. She had met a girl from Jaen in the line and I talked a little bit to ...
... and went for a walk along the strip again but the most of the places where closed up now so we had a pint in an irish bar again and then we went looking for food. We decided to stop off in another english place called Rumours and could not believe it when they put on all the soaps. We caught up with emmerdale and eastenders until I could take no more and we went off to get some chinese food. It was horrid and made us both feel a ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of ...

i guess i should mention why i am writing this blog. it's something i have always wanted to do, i have slowly taken an interest in writing, especially about travel, mostly my travels. i'm not sure where this writing experiment will lead but isn't that part of the fun? i decided to start with this trip because it involves my upcoming 12 night cruise from malaga to miami via the canary and madeira islands and the bahamas ...
... warrior lying down. I've included a couple of merged photos of the panorama to try and explain the view. Eventually we made it over to an oddly laid out, yet very quaint little square named 'Plaza del Portichuelo' where we sat outside in the street courtesy of 'Bar La Socorrilla'. A good hour passed us by as we sat back taking in the moment and watching the world go about its everyday ...
Antequera, Spain scottwoz... tix on the web or take a guided tour picking up from the hotel... All of this is unnecessary at this time of year. We got in for 10 euro each as opposed to 40 each for a tour with pick up from hotel. The bus took us straight to the Alhambra booking area and we lined up for 40 mins. And there is a free area that u can also check out!! While lining up we met a cool guy from Poland - Thomas - who ...
Granada, Spain mikelis... duly amazed and went home to dinner in our village of La Joya, at the only bar in that town. Had the best time of the whole trip. Ate and drank far too much and the bill was €36. I gave the man €50 and we sloshed back to the villa where the farm dogs barked all night. Monday we had a date at the Al Hambra castle in Grenada, which was truly stunning. We spent the night at our ...
