... not least on the agenda was to visit the Gasthof Dammenmuhle in Sulz where we all stayed before repatriating to Canada in 1981 (you too Jackie). We found them all as the pictures will verify. We even drove up the Langenhard hill behind the former OM and took a few pics.

We awoke to a foggy day but as we headed south after breakfast, we drove out of the fog when we climbed and back into it when we descended. Monday Oct 19th Election Day in Canada
It is raining and cold this morning. However the sun come out as we proceed. Just outside of Lindau there are acres and acres of apple trees loaded for picking and Eric wouldn't stop to let me snitch afew.
The way we planned to travel this morning didn't work out as the three different routes were blocked so we decided to return to Lindau and regroup.
... this one, opting for a chocolate waffle instead... Which they insisted they didn't have... The chocolate on their face proved otherwise. New waited in line for a good 35mins until we got and and it was really exciting. Up then down and turn turn turn. We were in our seats for less than half. The rest of the time we were pushing up against the bar holding us in. At the end of the ride my face was stinging from the cold air that whipped past. Was really exhilarating! The day was a great day ...
