... Marc, for only 6.50€ wow!! They were in heaven. On the way home to Schwyz we got a little lost, ended up on the 419 main road thru the French countryside. Then once we passed thru the border at Basel it started to snow, and boy did it come down, we arrived home safely but there were 100's of accidents reported that afternoon-evening. See photo. We walked into town to the main square were you find the cathedral and a world famous restaurant Maison Kammerzell 16 place de la Cathedrale. See photo. What an experience! I dined ...

The bones of St. Nicolas, a bishop in Turkey, were brought back by the crusaders in the 1300s. They were buried in the mountains of Riquewihr. In the 1500s the Dutch explore and destroy campaign was fully implemented, and wood ...

Freiburg and Titisee

We made it to Freiburg by lunchtime so we pulled into the information center and had a sandwich and a look in the Lonely Planet for the main things to see. After asking at the information center, we found out that we were a short walk to the Munsterplatz, which is a 700-year-old cathedral. For 1 Euro we were able to climb the 286 winding stairs to the top and have a look at the whole town! We had a view of everything and it was amazing. We also climbed into the tower ...
