Yesterday we woke up really early to catch the train to our next family member. Luckily the train station was just up the road so it meant that we were able to leave 15 minutes before it arrived. The train we caught was a scenic train which took us all through the mountains and as high as 2,500 meters above sea level. The views were so incredible! The scenery so far in Austria has been nice, but not spectacular (here I go, comparing it to Switzerland again!) But my next town more than makes up for it. Auberbraz is halfway up up grassy hillside, and above it is not one, but two magnificent waterfalls, tumbling over the rocky precipice.
Time to do a little side trip. It woudn't be right to just snap a picture and move on... I'm going to climb up to the base of one of those waterfall.
